One is highly influential in the Russian academia (including military academia), the other is one of the richest people in the world - both obviously attract attention and followers.

That was obviously a somewhat rhetorical question! 🫤 I do find it intriguing, though, how some people get to become regarded as sages and fonts of wisdom when they have no more qualification to justify it than the rest of us (and just getting filthy rich doesn't count). Extreme example: Curtis Yarvin. What has he done apart from sit in his room and make things up?

Frankly speaking, I’m yet to be convinced that Yarvin is someone who’s at least as important as Miguel Serrano, whose esoteric nazism never really left the far-right fantasy fringes.
